Now an official member of the contradance band Sassafras Stomp!!
Some of you might have noticed that I've been listing more contradances on my shows page -- that's right, I am very excited to now be playing banjo and mandolin as an official member of the awesome contradance band Sassafras Stomp!! Made up of fiddle player extraordinaire Johanna Davis and guitar master Adam Nordell -- who are also farmers, growing heirloom varieties dry-corn here in Maine (my kind of folks!!) So excited to be part of this amazing band! Do yourself a favor, and get out your dancing shoes, and come on out to one of our dances!! See our schedule HERE.
Gardening time!! Yup, my touring season has officially come to an end, now that I've planted my spinach and peas. Now is the season of homesteading! While I am mostly busy in the garden, I will be playing shows and contradances around Maine (and a few trips around New England!), throughout the summer. Check out my Shows page to learn more.
Back on the Road this Fall and Winter! I have some extensive tours in the works for the fall and Winter, with shows already booked in Ilinois, North Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Califorinia. If you live somewhere between East coast and West (!), consider hosting a house concert! If I'm not already coming through your town, I would like to! Shoot me an email at: info@putnamsmith.com, or for more info on House Concerts, click HERE.
